Mod Idea

Recommended Posts

I'm always thinking of BIS's future of course....

They were so generous with OFP and taught alot of us skills and charge no money.

I want them working on Game2 and I don't know why they aren't greedy like most other companies.Even tho I am not part of their company (i feel I am ,lol )

I was thinking why can't we assemble a team and make an addon for them? Maybe the team could get tools earlier too?

They already own the addons in a sense of the EULA of course. That we can't sell them

And I know why they don't just make and addon pack of public addons and sell them because alot of addonmakers use copyrighted stuff and could get sued

I think the ARMA engine would make an excellent Vietnam mod and done good could pull 20-30$ easily

(i paid 29$ for BF2 special forces addon)

I would buy the tools myself for one note but it could be a way of buying the tools in the sense that you make an addon for them.

And If I could pick a modteam from the talented people in this community, woah boy

I could manage a project like this but I know better choices surely

And on another note BIS could assemble maybe a dvd with OFP and most all adons and sell it again.

Just trying to think of ways for BIS to survive and have time to do a good job on Game2

Just some ideas, I feel I owe them for the stuff I learned.I would donate time to help them.Could be done in 6months to a year possibly

I agree with your views mate!

That is indeed a nice idea, even though I ain't an addon maker I know the addons the community can provide us have great potential and yes, sold they would be a good investiment.
