Custom FACE being too bright in game

Everything looks right when puting the face.jpg file in the arma profile folder but once in game the face looks really bright not white but the colors are really faded.

I read in another post that this has something to do with ATI cards but it makes no sense since the other faces are jpgs as well.

Is there a way to fix this? I used a regular in game face and put it in the arma profile folder and it made it pale as well.

Any suggestions?

I used PAA format but the resolution quality is super poor. I wan tto be able to use jpg.

Searching you would find this thread. about 9 pages in you will find some more information on it. Basically you need to use a paa file.

Can you create a paa file w/o having psp?

Using a JPG or TGA you can use BISs own tool TexView to convert.

Load the JPG or TGE, then simply Save it again and you will have a paa.
