qUiLL 0 Posted February 14, 2002 1. for missles on choppers + laser guided bombs on a10. when using lgb a10, a laser target (where someone is firing the laser) will show up and be selectable by the a10 pilot, in which he can dropa guided bomb 2. scuds can fire missles, but they dont go anywhere but up and the missles dont detonate either 3. just walk up to a medic and an option should come up called "Heal at medic". obviously select it

There are articles on all of these at The FAQ. You'll find them by searching for "laser use", "scud" and "medic" respectively.

qUiLL 0 Posted February 14, 2002 why does no one ever use medics? when its the medics job to heal you in games like firearms they never do, yet when you give them the power to be forced to treat you like in OPF nobody uses them either! the only thing ive seen people use are the med tents
R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted February 14, 2002 I always try to keep the medics alive so I can use them when needed.

DaCrytter 0 Posted February 14, 2002 I use the medic in about every other mission. And if you report that you are injured, the squad leader will tell you to go heal, and tell the medic to go to you...not so hard to use. Several times he has magically restored the use of my legs in a few seconds
Intruder 0 Posted February 14, 2002 When I'm in command I usually get the medic to drive support trucks and stuff. They can't hold much ammo anyway. I was playing the red hammer mission Repulsion (I think), the one where you start of in a village, and a couple of chinooks come flying. I equiped the medic with a sniper rifle, and legged it to the forest. He took out most of the enemies from there and we took back the village.
Gaswell 1 Posted February 14, 2002 I'd be reluctant to go into OFP combat without a medic. Only wish the AI medics weren't so keen on rushing forward into a wall of fire to heal friendlies. Same goes for ambulances. Brave but stupid. Similar problem shows up when AI medics self-heals. They get hit, stop dead in their tracks, and start healing themselves on the spot - giving me ample time to deliver 3 rounds on target. That's just plain stupid. How 'bout the medic AI not answering any calls until the group leader says all clear?
Shabadu 0 Posted February 14, 2002 The medics self-heal? I've never seen them do that before! Mine just go off and die in a corner.
Chan 1 Posted February 14, 2002 When playing online, I usually play the medic or the AT soldier. If someone actually survives the impact of the first bullet or a crash that is... Medics can be alot of fun in bigger battles, when alot of people bleed.
Shabadu 0 Posted February 14, 2002 How about an AT medic. Since you only get one AT rocket these guys wouldn't be carrying much ammo.
Bandit65 0 Posted April 8, 2002 Okay I read the Avon Lady FAQ, and I searched these forums... I have been trying and trying in game to get one of thwe soldiers under my command, who is injured, to 'go to' the spot where I have a medic 'waiting' in order to heal... when I get the message: "6: Injured" How do I tell '6' to go to '2' (The medic) specifically to get healed. Maybe I am just not getting them close enough... If an injured guy is near a medic, will they get together on their own? And get healed? Then say 'Ready' when the healing is done? This doesn't happen when I am squad leader...

Annihilator 0 Posted April 8, 2002 Bandit65, to make an injured man under ur command heal....u first call up his menu and choose "action" (i think its 6) and under it near the top is "heal at medic" or some other object....this has the same affect as if he commands u to do it...the medics runs to the guy and the guy goes to him... this is how i do it, there may be other ways
