Move commands ?

Hi all,

Just doing some testing on ArmA, with a view to moving from OPF. Just noticed the much limited 'Move' command. Is there any intention to extend it to the original OPF Move, direction, distance options. They are very useful, or is there a way to do this (apart from the tactical view)

I can only assume that what im talking about is a 'mod', and thats why the post has ended up here?

I guess you are talking about selecting a unit and clicking a position for it to move to ingame (as opposed to move / doMove / commandMove)?

I miss the move x meters in x direction from OFP too (I think it was move-other-distance-direction through the number keys).

I think he means the move menu in the command menu. In OFP you could tell a unit to move 200m North, for example. In ArmA this is gone.

I wonder why it ommited from ArmA, and if its likely to be get back in at some time..

I for one, would lobby for it in ArmA.

Im also bemused as to why this post was moved by the moderator to this forum, when it was posted in the general section. This is not a mod issuel, its a game feature issue.

Check if it's reported on the bugtracker. If it's there, vote for it (and include the link so others can find it easily). If not, add it as a feature request so people can vote on it.
