1.07 joystick problem

Recommended Posts

I downloaded 1.07 beta,

now, im taking off in an A-10 (using joystick) when all of a sudden I realize most of my controls aren't working, Same case with the harrier and Su-34. I use a Saitek X52 with 2 of the buttons on the stick cycle through the "action list" and a button on my throttle works the "use key". Even in flight with the jets the landing autopilot will kick in without reason. Ive tried redoing the controls in the configuration but it doesn't respond to it sometimes the buttons will even exit out of the configuration. ive clicked the enable/diasble joystick button, and still nothing. Im starting to think it was a mistake to download this patch if this was done intentionally mad_o.gif if not, hopefully it will be fixed for the full fledged patch.

Known issue with all joysticks introduced in 1.07 beta. Suma has said that it will be fixed in the final version of the 1.07 patch.

First of all, i'm a bit lost with all the different 1.07 troubleshooting topics and the sub topics regarding 1.07 individual problems... whistle.gif

Anyway, just installed the hot fix for 1.07 and tested out my joystick X52.

I haven't changed or looked into it much, but i did notice i still got the mapping problem, namely i linked the autohoover (on) to one button and autohoover (off) to an other. But when i press the on one, it gives me the action + it uses the toggle manual fire on-off aswell although that was definate on an other button. Even after leving the key for toggle manual fire empty, i still got it.

Thought they fixed the joystick mapping bug in the hot fix?

Button mapping issue still exists here, I hope it gets fixed as I want to remap my buttons / keys. A little annoying that they are 'hard coded' into certain actions.

Main button now only perform unwanted actions while piloting.
