Stagger Lee 0 Posted May 11, 2007 The stick is detected by WinXP, calibrates, all buttons work. Made sure the "Joystick Enabled" checkbox was checked in ArmA. But it's just not working..made sure the correct axis assignments were chosen..but no buttons or sliders, or movements have any effect. Is there something I'm missing here? Stagger Lee 0 Posted May 11, 2007 No one else has problems getting their joystick recognized by the game? This is on a fresh install..in fact I recently uinstalled, defragmented my HD, reinstalled and applied the patch. No other issues. Any help would be appreciated. majshake 0 Posted May 11, 2007 Yeah I have the exact same problem, just have a different controller. Extreme 3D Pro joystick problem
majshake 0 Posted May 11, 2007 This guy called Desode at the atari forums solved his issue. He needed to install the specific software for his joystick from the manufacturer's website then create a profile for ArmA through the software. It doesn't work with me, maybe because I just have the demo so far? I hope it works out for you.
Blanco 0 Posted May 11, 2007 I have a MS Precision pro 2 and no problems here. Make sure there is only one controller device connected when you start Arma. A joystick and a gamepad is a no go...
Trapper 0 Posted May 11, 2007 Yes, I seem to recall that ArmA/OFP will always select the 0/default Windows game controller if there are more than one connected.
