Broomy89 0 Posted May 9, 2007 1st of all you need winrar, search it in google and it will pop up, download and install it. Now download the addon file and save to your addons folder (C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\AddOns) Right click on it and there should be the option to extract here, click on it and it should extract the pbo file, then open the game and your addon should be in the editor. JdB 151 Posted May 9, 2007 He wants to use the 3rd ID "addon" as a replacement for the BIS soldiers, it doesn't work that way, they are an "addon", not a "replacement". Simply putting them in the addonfolders will not replace the BIS textures by those of the addoncreator. In order to use them as a replacement you would need to find the correct pbo file in your ArmA installation, extract it, replace the old textures with the new ones (with the correct names for each file) and compress the files into the pbo file again. Note that a "replacement" is pretty final, unless you keep backups of the old file and swap them back if you want to get the BIS soldierskins back.
