Marines 0 Posted May 4, 2007 It looks as if something is going on with the way your PC is managing memory applications, specifically the way ArmA is utilizing it. EDIT - I've had my copy since the German release, and I've never seen that specific type of error concerning ArmA.
Marines 0 Posted May 4, 2007 Try this, mate. Select Start, Run, and type - msconfig Next, select config.sys tab and add the himem.sys line by pressing new button Restart your computer If you screen displays "HIMEM has detected unreliable memory at address blah blah blah" it means you have a memory allocation issue that is hardware releated. crowebar 0 Posted May 4, 2007 well this is the only thing I can get, and I dont see the config tab......if it is a hardware issue how would I know which thing is causing it?
Marines 0 Posted May 5, 2007 Damn! I forgot I use a system diagnostic utility... however, you can do it under the SYSTEM.INI tab, but I wouldn't suggest it. Well, lets attempt to trouble-shoot the issue. 1.) Is this a pirated copy? 2.) Are you running Vista?
crowebar 0 Posted May 5, 2007 nope not pirated, I bought it online from Atari today.....also im using XP. Thanks for your help btw man.

Marines 0 Posted May 5, 2007 nope not pirated, I bought it online from Atari today.....also im using XP. Thanks for your help btw man. No problem, mate. FYI, the kernel32.dll often refers to a lack of insufficient amount of system RAM/VRAM, and or leaks caused by a interfering well... a myraid of other potential issues. 3.) What are your system specs? 4.) Does this occur when joining any MP game, or are you consistently attempting to join a specific server? After I take a look at your sys specs I'll proceed. crowebar 0 Posted May 5, 2007 System Specs BTW my firewalls are not on at all. Ensure you have the latest drivers for your hardware, as the k32.dll issue can sometimes be caused by outdated drivers. Last but not least.... As the editor-in-chief of PC Gamer Greg Vederman would say, "The man who doesn't reinstall his OS every six months is a doomed man".
