Black Opening Screen

Hi

I can someone tell me how to open an intro with a Black screen. Becuase when i try it with triggers they start normal and then quickly cut to black. i want the mission to start Black and fade in.

Use the IntroText "blackOut" and "Black In"

Ive come across the same problem and ive tried loads of things to get around this problem, nothing works it always fades in (default) then the effect you specify takes effect afterwards.

The titlecut effect is "black faded". Use "black in" shortly after that.

If you set the blackout command in the init the mission will start black. then you can use a script to blackin.
