kikinchaz 0 Posted April 19, 2007 My Specs are : 256mb Nvidia 7800GTX, 3.2 Dual Core Pentium processor, 2 gigs of 533mhz DDR2 RAM. As you can see my specs are easily enough for the recommended of ArmA. After playing the game i had a really crap FPS and the game looked shoddy too. I just figured meh, wait for patches n stuff might be solved. So today i decided to try out the game fullscreen and run at 1280x1024 instead of my windowed 1024x768. Instantly the freaking menu's even became so much clearer!? I jumped into the game and it ran so much smoother!? I cranked up the graphics settings to everything on high (apart from AA and disable shadows) and the game looks so much nicer and runs so much nicer. Note: this is the only game i have ever encountered windowed problems on my computer with This shows the serious awful windowed support the game must have, problem is - i only play games windowed  Can you guys fix the windowed support seriously soon? Also i turned up my Anti Aliasing settings from low to medium, and instantly the game became very blurry , this must be a bug. I set it back down to low and everything looks clear again. Because i just play all my games windowed and thats how im used to it. If a game is only fullscreen i rarely play it and it becomes a waste of money. Just my personal preference. Im using Forceware 93.81 - most recent beta ones i think. Pisses me off how Nvidia have totaly forgotton about XP non 8 Series cards. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hmmm, I thought I've seen newer drivers (higher version number) etc... I might be mistaken with Vista Drivers, ... have you taken a look here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/ I had similair issues that you describe with weird font, weird unfocussed view etc, with older drivers on my 8800.
