ARMA on a high end laptop ?

Recommended Posts

hi people

being a fan of operation flashpoint i want to get into arma ,i know this game pushes your pc's hardware to the limit.

Does it play ok on a high end laptop like a rock xtreme with a 7900 gtx mobile graphics card.

GUess i'd have to turn off the AA / AF for a faster frame rate?

i've tried running it on my compaq v6000 (amd turion64X2, 1gb ram, 256mb nvidia) but it was unplayable. yours seems better though so you might have more luck

Hey guys,

I'm playing ArmA on my Thinkpad inlove.gif w/X1400 and it's really playable notworthy.gif . The major issue is the sound card... banghead.gif

Hiya

I'm playing ArmA on a Fujitsu Amilo, 2ghz Centrino duo with 1g RAM and a ATI mobility Radeon X1800 graphics card.

Seems to run sweet as a nut on medium graphics settings but does get jerky when I whack them all up to maximum.

Otherwise i've found it perfectly playable with a view distance of 3km+ in multiplayer.

Hope that's of some help

I really wouldn't worry with you specs. I've been able to get ArmA to run on a 1.6 Centrino, 64mb GeForce go 5200, and 512mb RAM.

I'm sure it'll be alright with yours. smile_o.gif
