You mean game lag or low FPS. Download FRAPS and check your FPS, 30+ recommended. Server Lag could be a problem try a few servers.
Infam0us 10 Posted March 31, 2007 Can you please provide more of a detailed post so we can help you. For instance provide more detail on your PC, like the following ... PSU - 500W Silverstone SLi Dual +12V Mobo: Gigabyte GA K8N51GMF-RH NF410 - S754 Processor: AMD Athlonâ„¢ 64 Processor 3400+ Newcastle S754 2.5Ghz RAM: x 2 512 MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM Hard Drive: 335GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS 256MB - Overclocked Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live 5.1! Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 And do you mean lag as in high Ping? It could be a Virus or Spyware related problem if this is the case. Or are you referring to mouse lag? Dudester 0 Posted April 1, 2007 I really dont know my system specs. But I can run CS:S fine. Then nobody can help you my friend. Just because you run Css doesn't mean you are going to run every game the same as that. Css is old hat now alot of the old crappy computers run it, so thats nothing to go by. I can play monster maze 3D on my old zx specrum computer, but i cannot play doom on it.
Chris Death 0 Posted April 2, 2007 I really dont know my system specs. But I can run CS:S fine. Do you want to say that you may have been looking at the backside of the ArmA box reading the recommended system specs but you don't even know if you reach them or not? How much RAM? GeForce 7300 - how much VRAM? which card? Soundcard? Latest drivers? In which resolution you're trying to play ArmA? Processor - GHZ? Nobody can give you any support if you don't know the hardware you're using. ~S~ CD

(Nvidia specs on nvidia boxes). A 7300 will struggle with ARMA on anything but low settings. ARMA is about 10x more complex than CSS. In general ARMA runs like a pig on anything below a 3000+ MHZ CPU. 6800/7600 GPU. 1 GIG RAM. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....16;st=0 View the above post and look at the woodlands pics at the bottom of page 1. Your machine will just about do the LOW settings pic. IF you upgrade cool, if you want to run arma then drop resolution (screen) as low as possible and drops all settings low and try and get a stable 30 FPS. then try upping detail levels.
