ahm11 1 Posted February 8, 2002 This is ahm the webmaster of FlashpointArena.com and I was wondering if anyone is interested in buying the Un-Official OFP Resource CD. At the moment we are accepting any Missions/Addons/Campaigns or other related files to be sent to us to be added to the CD. Get all the information here. Any questions are welcome... ahm11 1 Posted February 9, 2002 As I have said on the main page of the website, that I was thinking of selling the Un-Official OFP Resource CD. Unfortunately I was not allowed to sell the Un-Official OFP Resource CD because of legal reasons, but Codemasters have suggested that who ever donates to us gets a free Un-Official OFP Resource CD and we did find out that that was the only way around the problem. So if you donate to us around Å10 or $15 and get a free CD.
FUBAR 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Hmmmmmmm......... Wonder how long it will be before someone starts threating you with legal action, because you are supplying a mission on the cd made by "joe Bloggs" who has used "john smiths" add-on & "fritz grubbes" script to make the mission and "friz" has not given you permission to use his script.... Lets face it.... all anyone will see is that you are making some monies by offering the "Free" Un-Official Resource CD to anyone that donates to your site....and you are re-producing their work without them agreeing to it! I wish you luck in your venture (but dont mass produce your cd's) Â Â
Tylerb59 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Less than 5 dollars is more reasonable. That pretty much covers the cost of everything. 15 dollars is a very large profit, I would rather buy a new game with that money.

You said "Less than 5 dollars is more reasonable", well it is not really because, I have to pay to burn the CD's, post and package, CD case....and that would cost more than you would donate, and that makes me pay more if you see what I mean. kegetys 2 Posted February 10, 2002 Why did you turn my screenie blue on that pic? It lost all its sunset glamour...
sergeant rock 3 Posted February 10, 2002 Pay for things I can download for free? Am I missing something here? You're basically trying to raise money to get the Flashpoint Arena site back up, or to line your pockets? Please explain.....
sergeant rock 3 Posted February 10, 2002 Okay, just read from the website...guess I should do that next time before I ask questions. The donations route seems like the way to go, and giving the CD to donors is a nice touch, especially those folks with slow connections who can't download this stuff as easily. Good luck.
