Thehamster 0 Posted February 8, 2002 It depends what State your in really in American for just had stupid/racist they can be further south the worse it gets but for some unknown reason New Mexico seems to be better than the rest of the southern states for that sort of thing if you want a nice free insult type life go there. Too bad, becuase IRL as soon as a Shilka turned on its radar, it would probably get taken out by an AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missle. Much like what happened in Iraq. A few MiG-29's, a couple of Su-27's, that tunguska....I find it pretty surprizing that Russia is so willing to sell them their most advanced stuff...then again, maybe they're just getting the "Export" models. Supah 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Russian COMPANIES sell their planes/SAM's/other hardware to the USA cuz they are flat broke and the US pays the "sticker price" most likely. BTW Iraqi hinds that were captured went mainly to the scrapheap except for one which u may have seen on this forum. Looking at that bird with its flat tires, no rotorblades and missing engine i cannot escape the expression that its jsut a "gate guard" i.e. a museum piece.
