I agree with many of your points, just not this one.

HDR is tottaly overdone and unrealistic and just messes up the gameplay (even at night or cloudy weather). Its feels like its exagerated deliberatly to make people drool but it needs to be fixed for realism and gameplay sakes.

Night time lighting is poor.

I think that at version 1.05 Arma still needs work to be more enjoyable/playable but its looking good. Arma is the best damn game out there .

Once again I agree.

The way I look at it there is no other game like Arm A. Many other games are released, using cool new features, and original styles of play.

I am happy to play those, but only when I am waiting for people to get online for Arm A .

Arm A is unique game, nothing else remotley like it, other than OFP.

No matter what new game is release, and how cool and amazing people say it is. I will still only want to play Arm A.

I think most of you guys will agree.

Felt compelled to thank BIS for finally making this game. So, sorry if this clutters the forums. Didn't know where to put it, and yeah, recently got the game (American playing the English version).

I may have put OFP aside a few times over the past few years. But, always re-installed it and looked for the latest and greatest addons, and played it again. I played it more than ANY game ever, especially due to the editor.

Arma, I'm a pig in doo-doo, it's Christmas. There is nothing like this game. Set up any senario, it is almost never the same twice. Well, at least w/ my missions.

AI in this game can scare the crap out of you, when you least expect it. More than once I've had reload and pistol fights by AI that nearly killed me and ended up crawling away. Any other game I have to play multiplayer get that kind of excitment, but w/ a fraction of the realism.

Multiplayer... what other realistic game can you play which allows you to run campers over at their flag while honking the horn of a UAZ. *flump!*

Thanks BIS, please keep making games like this.

HDR set to 32 is very good, if your using 8 bit, its a bit console like.

Night time, On a top end machine night time battles are total amazing, flares, the light form wrecks the amazing dynamic ligting for all weapons etcs. NVGS could be better (see rainbow six for best NVG's in a game so far)

Everything on v high at night and I generally sit there stunned. No game Since OPF and Farcry has managed with GFX and Gameplay to simply make me stare at the monitor and say "shit that looks real feels real".

My only major bug bear is the physics comparred to many new titles suck.

I'm pushing for ARMA to be Bafta nominated, as a technical achievment its a huge step forward for games.
