Getting less problems after several missions!?

Hi!

I have in several posts reported huge graphical issues that is making the game almost unplayable. I decided to go ALT-TABBING to try and go forward (since I have waited so long for this game) and I´m currently around the "SOMATO" mission.

The thing that i have noticed is that the graphical problems hasn`t dissapered, but they are almost gone in these last missions. Has anybody any idea for this? Can it somhowe be that the DVD is printed badly or what?? I´m really confused att this moment  

And plz post if you actually have an idea

Hello, you could use the search function or atleast do a small bit of searching.

Im presuming by your vague description of graphics "problems" that you have the lod and texture problems.

Have you tried increasing your pc's page file (virtual memory)?

Looking at your system specifications i think it will fix your problem just how it fixed mine .

Well, you would know my problems if you just had used the search-function  

And my question wasn`t what I should do to get it better, but how come there seems to be a significantly IMPROVEMENT

the more i have played. The last missions there has been virtually no graphical problems att all (just som lagging but thats expected due to comp.) as there was in the first "half" of the game wich was almost unplayable and i had to ALT-TAB all the time.

Maybe I´m a bit vague but there you go.

I initially had many performance and texture problems with 1.05, now I get hardly any and my performance is up quite a bit! My page file has not changed either (3072 MB) and the only thing I have changed is to disable VSync on my GFX card!

This texture memory thing works in strange ways!!
