nopulse 0 Posted February 7, 2002 Has anyone experience the bug where your head keeps constantly turning to the left or the right? It won't center.
theavonlady 2 Posted February 7, 2002 Not exactly. Are you by chance referring to "mouse look" mode? If so, search The FAQ for "mouse look".

nopulse 0 Posted February 7, 2002 theavonlady, I looked on your website for the "mouse look" mode throubleshooter but had no luck. I must be blind! I use the mouse to move left right etc. When I change to 3rd person view sometimes my character goes all crazy and the head will constantly move to the left or right, it doesn't center. There for I can't move properly.
(CYBA)JakkedUptron 1 Posted February 8, 2002 Unplug your Joystick. It's fighting your mouse.
nopulse 0 Posted February 8, 2002 (CYBA)JakkedUptron, The funny thing is, I don't have my Joysticked even plugged in It happened again and when ALT TAB out of the game to the desktop and then ALT TAB back into the game it seemed to correct it. I guess the Windows mouse and the Games mouse were conflicting with each other.
eetee 0 Posted March 1, 2002 nopulse, i have similar problem: after playing a while, suddenly head moves upwards (seeing only blue skies and clouds) and steering against it is like working against a decalibrated joystick: when centered, crosshair goes back up towards heaven. it stops when i change to weapon-sights (optics). but back to normal view it's just again blue sky, clouds and enemies killing me ... mouse control in menues is normal but returning to game the problem is still there until exiting and restarting opfp. next time i'll try alt-tabing to windows and back; i hope it helps. eetee
