M4XSs 0 Posted March 23, 2007 If BIS ever considered that, I think they will choose xbox they are nLove with ms technologies. o.O
maxqubit 1 Posted March 23, 2007 Or did I just ask a very polite question about addons and mods and lack of for console? mod are possible even with Elite It is not supported, true, but (with some help of MS) that could change. Somebody has to step in first. OFP is remembered for this back in the 2002/3 days ... so why couldn't ArmA be the showcase of mods on 360? I'm not saying/asking this to happen overnight, but give it 2 years ... who knows ... there is an audience waiting you know. (I will make this my last post, cause i seem to rehassle my arguments over and over again, as ppl start to notice;)
ck-claw 1 Posted March 23, 2007 Hey Nave!!!! You Penis!! (btw-how you doing mate?) What a silly Question you know you'll always go the way of the PC!!!
general 0 Posted March 24, 2007 hmmm, I'm not very much for controlling fps games with a joystick. if only the wii was as powerful as the 360. perhaps I can plug the controller into the computer with some haxing
Talyn 33 Posted March 24, 2007 It would take a great deal of time to convert, just as Elite did (to my knowledge.) Time which could be better spent on future projects and supporting ArmA for the PC. Granted the console market loses out but it’s not as if there is a huge outcry for this type of game. On a personal note, PC gamers are losing out in the long run due to multiplatform games. The games are generally made with that in mind, to be multiplatform, thus there are limits and boundaries set early in development. And what we get is a game which feels like it should be played on a console. (Rainbow Six: Vegas)
bravo 6 0 Posted March 24, 2007 None. I'd rather seee BIS keep their focus on ArmA (patches/expansions) and Game 2 for the next years. yup, i agree!
Heatseeker 0 Posted March 24, 2007 It wouldnt sell... if BIS wanted to sell a console game they would have to redesign or make a new one. It would take time... Arma is an engine, it could have shiped with a better game but the engine makes up for it, i havent even started the campaign nor am i planning to do so. Its hard to explain...
