Mave 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Running ArmA 1.05 Dedicated Server on IBM R52 laptop with 1GB of RAM, after few hours of gameplay the ArmA_Server.exe process takes up to 450MB of memory, is it just caching the played missions+maps or does it have a memory leak? Anyone else noticed the same thing? I've always restarted the server before running out of memory, but that might not always be possible.
suma 8 Posted March 6, 2007 DS is caching whatever it can (missions, vehicle types, island data, model files). 450 MB sounds quite reasonable to me. If you want to force it using smaller caches, you should be able to use e.g. -maxmem=256 (note: too low value could cause more complex missions unplayable).
