You can actually assing axis from ALL CH controllers into a single virtual joystick that's visible for the game, I'm myself using Fighterstick + ProPedals to play ArmA. And you don't have to assign anything to mouse axis, I have X&Y in stick, Z is the stick throttle slider and rudder-axis in pedals is R-axis. Just make sure you have everything set from different controllers into same CM Device ID.

What's wrong with the dedicated servers? Seems like they keep failing, runned 1.08 dedicated on my IBM R52 laptop (~1.8GHz Pentium-M, 1GB of memory) and had no problems whatever, Evolution running for about 3-4 days behind password, but for some reason, maybe after the latest "Microsoft's Black Tuesday" something went wrong?!? Now the arma_server.exe dies every time there's something for the server to do, that's Evolution when something starts to happen, that's "built-in" coops when something starts to happen... And my server is not the only server crashing, anyone else noticed this?

Got it to work: Uninstall Reinstall 1.05 patch 1.08 patch NoCD So most likely the problem is with Securom. My DVD-drive is Serial-ATA Samsung SH-S183A with firmware SB03.

I see just a hourglass "pointer" and the process arma.exe dies... Reinstalled windows - Nope Tried 1.08RC - Nope That fixed exe - Nope (Same size as the one from 1.08RC, same?) Running E6600, WindowsXPSP2 with latest hotfixes, GeForce 8800GTX (tried drivers 158.22, 162.18, 162.50 from Guru3D). Uninstalled ArmA again -> Reboot, registry cleanup, file cleanup, reinstall... 1.04 (505 version) works. 1.05 International Update works. 1.08 (1.05->1.08) does not work. 1.08RC does not work. 1.08 "Fixed" exe does not work. Updated firmware to my DVD-drive and tried the same again, nope, does not work... Just receiving the same thing with the hourglass, task manager shows arma.exe running for about 2 seconds and then it just dies, no errors or anything. Without the DVD, securom tells me to insert the DVD, but when inserted and retry, same thing, arma.exe just dies. Tried "nocd" executable as well, but it just gave me another error, something about C++ Runtime thingy, but atleast it tried to start the game... Any ideas? I'm running out of those!

Wondering if there's an easy way to "disable" tanks if all crew positions are not manned? This would make the tanks to work as they should, not as one man mobile-camping-platforms.

I didn't notice any big fps difference in cities, forrest nor flying with Ansiso low-very high, so using it as very high... Gnat: NVidia recommends uninstall - reboot - install - reboot method...
