1.05 don't works on my PC

Just to make sure again..

When did you check your temperature? In Windows or while playing a game with high hardware requirements?

Im asking because Im beginning to think that karantan is absolutely right here, this all sounds very much like an overheating problem.

And just cause someone told you that 90°C are OK you shouldnt count on it.

Like I said in my last post, check the Fan, see if wheres dust or some other stuff in it, clean it if nessesary, check if it runs correctly and see if it helps.

If everythings right with your GPU fan you can still wait etc.

But you should make sure cause you actually can loose your card with that kind of problem...and I think an X1950 is pretty expensive, isnt it?

Let me check something...

The X1950 PRO has two molar connectors on it.. have you got BOTH plugged in? Otherwise the card wont get enuff power...

EDIT: also make sure the power comes directly from the PSU. That card is a hungry beast :P I had restarting problems till i did this...

leaving open the Catalyst Control Center overdrive window and alt+tabbing from the game to the CCC and viceversa

Let me check something...

the X1950Pro PCI has only one additional molex

Hi, I have same problem: whit the version 1.08 + Hotfix. My video card is a Radeon x1650pro AGP 8x, my power supply is a 350w and my ram is 1gb. Why my pc restarts after 2 (good) playing minutes? Do you think too me I need disable the VPU recover?
