About 1.05 & downloaded versions of ArmA

I'm in Australia and downloaded the German version. Then Applied the English translation patch to version 1.02.

Now that 1.05 is due out (I've read March 2nd) does anyone know whether it can (magically) turn my German version into English?

Am I forever destined to finding yet another English translation patch kindly manufactured by the ArmA Community every time there's a new upgrade issued by BIS?

It has been stated that the patch introduces the ability to change the language in all versions. So reinstall, don't add the english language patch, just run 1.05 and set your language in the options to english.
