Ghost weapon

when playing missions player has 'ghost weapon'  can only see hands and crosshair.

OS; XP 64bit

Asus P5N-E SLI

Funny lol .. no idea why that is. I'm clueless.

Things that come to my mind when looking at your specs:

- 8800 Card is still not 100% stable and has issues. I think new drivers have been released already for it.

- WXP64 can cause issues. Not sure if it can take your gun away though lol

- Appears that the model is simply not rendered so I think that's a driver or DirecX problem.

I had this MP when using a Javelin. It would appear on your back in 3rd person but you couldn't see it when in use. It did work however, you just had to trust the targetting reticule.

I've had this as well, I'm also using a GF8800gtx with the 97.92 drivers.

I'm getting a lot of lighting bugs as well, especially with NV goggles, in fact every time I load up the game I get something different brightness and gamma-wise, if I'm playing a mission and get killed - I click on load save game, and I get a whole new picture to what I saw a few seconds previously.

I'm going from grey and washed out to luminous, fluorescent colours that burn my eyes out. Oh, and I'm also getting the view distance bug that's been reported with the 8800's. No matter what I set the view distance to I'm getting 'grey fog' at short distances.

I have same proplem. Sometimes my sniper disappears. It is usually spr.

Sorry I read this post too fast and I didin't notice that there is a solution.
