Communication to team mates?

Recommended Posts

Hi, is there a feature that enables you to point out enemies to team mates other than typing text.....like in Battlefield 2 with the commo rose? I notice that the PC does this on ocassions but not sure how it works.....eg. bandit 3 o'clock etc.

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes it will call in targets without you looking anywhere near them, other times it won't even acknowledge they are there tounge2.gif

Best bet is to right click on the unit, and if that doesn't work, press V and try again, if it still doesn't work click around it, and if that doesn't work ... just shoot the bastard in the head smile_o.gif

Yep, what i do is use right click to zoom, find the target, then i click the right mouse button a few times and theres a 90% success rate i guess, then you can order your team mates to target the unit and then FIRE biggrin_o.gif

I just add the key next to Z (the one with < > \ ) to reveal target. The I use this.. Works most of the time unless the enemy is behind a lot of foliage or I am

Hi all

And of course you can use the onboard coms

Shift lock (Default key)

You will need a mike. Remember it is tied the chat channel you are in so Global tells your enemies too. Use the Blue or green channels or use yellow in vehicles.

The direct speak purple? channel? I have not experimented with. I think it is suposed to be for speaking to people near by and originates from you position. It may be worth while while to use to get position ideas on other players in your team but beware it will also reveal your position to close by enemy especialy those listening hard for clues at night or in dense forrest.

Kind Regards Walker

I'm not sure, but the purple channel can help make those cut scene's a bit more interesting wink_o.gif

Thanks for the resposes. I have been using reveal target / second mouse button.....but due to it not being accurate, I thought it was for targeting when in vehicles. I was wrong!

I will persivere, again, thanks.
