So BIS, OFP Addon Converter Tool? to get all those addon made for OFP into Armed Assault?

Another "When will the tools be released?" thread?...

I doubt there will be ONE single tool to re-make OFP addons for ArmA. It will more likely be a case of you having to re-write the config.cpp (or at least edit the parts where more commands are needed) using notepad, edit the model (for shadows etc) in Oxygen2, and sort out the textures in TexView2.

Does the Config only, need to be changed or does actual parts of the model need to be adjusted aswell?  

EDIT: Would there be a tutorial knocked up on help with transfuring them over to AA

Depends on the model, and the type of addon it is (Weapon, vehicle, building etc).

there is no magic one click tool to convert addons across to armed assault, such an idea would be wishful thinking.

its going to require time and effort, like flashpoint addons did

apart from that...

most ofp addons dont fulfill the arma requriments and standarts

its better to start over or PLAN your future addons...

i mean how would and old BAS delta look alike compared

to a new standart (!! unit in arma??

or whatever other addon.

dont stick to old things make new ones, better ones
