Whats happened to my favourite servers?

Ok ive played this since it got released in Germany (my German friend sent it to me), im from uk.

I have been on today trying to join servers, my usual servers have red crosses through them does that mean they are playing a later version now? and if so how did they get update and can i or do i wait?
