Reading Keystrokes or other inputs (mouse, joystic

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone and fellow Scriptmasters notworthy.gif

I went through the wiki list of Arma commands, but I havn't yet figured out if you could "read" what key of the keyboard the player is pressing ? Or mouse or joystick movements for what it takes...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Eric

I have been watching the addaction command for a while but I still have no idea what the 'shortcut' does/means/functionality is smile_o.gif

http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/addAction

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">unit addaction [action, script,(arguments,priority, showWindow, hideOnUse, shortcut)] ....

what the hell is shortcut smile_o.gif If you ask me it is meant to be the key to press to activate the action, but you tell me smile_o.gif

Otherwise I think its only possible by code manipulation/injection but it's Kegetys his area (I guess), not mine wink_o.gif

(Just notice this is post 1-0-0-0 for me, yay smile_o.gif)
