I just installed vista ulitmate and everything is running great, I can join the game, join a server and everything looks and sounds great, I just can't get the 6th sense patcher to work I followed the instructions in the readme file but is still doesn't work. It doesn't come up with any errors when I run the german to english patch it just says succesfully updated, I go in to the game and no cigar

Right click on the patcher program.

Click on Compatibility tab

Check the box (places a tick) against -

'Run this program in compatibility mode for:

Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

Check the box (places a tick) against -

'Run this program as an administrator'

I installed Windows Vista 64 Edition (Full install) yesterday, encountered the same problem as you, did the above, and all worked well.
