ODB_Mongoose 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi All, This might be an old topic, but im not sure. Recently installed Vista Ultimate and cant play Arma anymore. Thing is, when installing 1.00 German Downloaded version, I got the DVD activation question and it worked. When I upgraded to 1.02 it all of a sudden sais I got the wrong CD/DVD. Ive read some topics about this but am I right there's no solution yet? Thanks in advance for your help
sickboy 13 Posted February 6, 2007 You have the wrong patch for your download version. Try downloading the 1.02 patch from the download site where you got your downloaded ArmA from... They should have fixed patchers
Jimboob 0 Posted February 6, 2007 I thought the download versions were already patched?
ODB_Mongoose 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Well that could be true but not entirely. When I ran XP, I could patch the downloaded German version with the official patches. Now, with Vista, it gives the CD/DVD error message So there must be something happening in Vista which makes it not to run ArmA. Anyone?
Rastavovich 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Run the patch once more over the already patched version and select "Deutsche Online Version" (German Online Version) when it asks what distribution you use. That should fix it.
