Kirby 2 Posted February 3, 2007 ... 1. I don't think OFp was the "Mother" of these as it wasn't very popular. But It is the best. BF2 IS NOT a tactical realistic combat simulator The way of bullet dispersion you mentioned (Classic dumb FPS-Style) is unrealistic, as in real life the bullet goes where the barrel's aimed (Maybe not 100% exactly, but not mutch dispersion on most guns at all) So I find OFP style dispersion (Where the gun is aimed) better, cause recoil can shake your gun about violently and even the most skilled can fire prolonged bursts without losing ALOT of accuracy) ^The above answer number Suppressive fire... Not sure how they'd get the AI to be doing this properly. But in multi player it is a good tactic to keep your enemy pinned You can disable 3rd person in difficulty options (Servers can also disable it, nearly every server I play on (Exept my clan one) has no 3rd person (This affects ALL players on there)) I don't play using crosshair (I can now hit up to about 50m or further without using ironsights, sights, or crosshair) But I personaly hate GR crosshairs and think they wouldn't suit G2.
