Charlie 1 Posted January 23, 2007 Im buying a notebook Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz 2 MB Memory Ram Nvidia Quadro NVS 120M 120 Gb hard Disk 15" I would like to know if game its compatible with this config and if yes, what kind of performance must I wait. Thanks
Bunks 0 Posted January 23, 2007 how about you download the demo when you do(it is free) and tell the community what you find out. Wouldn't that be much more sensible and helpful. After all, I dont know many people who have quadro cards so it unlikely you will get a response to this.
shinRaiden 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Nvidia's somewhat vague about the new Quadro m series mobile GPU's, best guesstimates is it's comparable to the go7400, but with Quadro extensions, which are irrelevant to Arma. If so, and if it has 256mb of dedicated video memory or more, performance should be reasonable. I hope you meant 2GB of Ram.
Charlie 1 Posted January 23, 2007 I hope you meant 2GB of Ram. you're right....2Gb Ram But in the worst scenenario, the gmail will run in that config, isnt? olemissrebel 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Gmail? What? I have a go7400 512MB and it works fine. It's more so the game engine than my computer, which should run fun with settings disabled, even though it's a laptop.

the_bengine 0 Posted February 2, 2007 if anyone's vaguely interested, i'm running Arma with the following spec: P4 3.00GHz 2.5 GB ram Nvidia Quadro FX1400 The game's pretty sluggish. i pretty much have to run the game on low settings in order to make it playable - it just winds up looking like OFP with nicer shadows and grass!. I'd love to have a gaming card but the machine's mainly used for AutoCad and Maya 3d animation software. Is there a convenient way to swap between two gfx cards? i guess there's no point given that i've only one pci-e slot anyway. sniff
