But I can't hear any sounds...

I've a Sound Blaster 16 Vibra ISA board...

I've downloaded the latest drivers from SoundBlaster.com, but no results....

My system:

Asus P2B-F

PII400

256 Mb RAM

Riva TNT 16

Try turning off both EAX and Hardware Acceleration to see if that gets you sound.

Also, run DXDIAG.EXE and test the sound subsystem -- if problems are found, you may need to reinstall DirectX and/or the sound drivers.

I've downloaded DirectX 8.1, (I had the 8.0) and everything is ok now.

No, placebo, I don't have the 1.42 version, as I saw that the amount of patches I have to download is beyond my 56k modem possibilities... sad.gif

Thanks for your help,

Kamox.

You could try looking on the cover disks from magazines. They usually contain patches and updates.

Hmm I'm on 56k and it's really no biggy downloading the patches, just use a download manager such as getright or gozilla, I get around 20mb per hour so in a couple of hours you'll have all the patches downloaded smile.gif

For various reasons there is very little support that can be given for old versions of Opf.

You should have asked for the Gold Edition, when you bought OFP recently. Now, if you don't want to DL all patches/upgrades buy the Gold Upgrade. It contains OFP1.30 and all Upgrades and a new Campaign (Red Hammer), so I guess it would be worth the money for you. And then you can DL v1.42 to update to the latest version.
