Adding Missions to Server Bug

Oki, BIS.. we have got a dedicated server and every time we go to add a mission to the server all goes fine, but when we go to select #missions nothing happens, #restart, #reassign, #logout no commands work.. then when we disconnect from the server, the server is no longer in the list. then when we take the missions back out of the folder it all works fine again, i see many other people can play with custom missions... wink_o.gif

Has Anyone got any ideas whats up confused_o.gif

One/Some of the missions have some broken component. Test which missions are broken and remove them. This needs to be fixed though.

I'm not sure what exactly breaks this though.

One of the guys I play with said that the server crashes as soon as a player joins a server with one of the broken missions.

Also, while fixing that, they should make it possible to update missions while the server is running. No need to lock all mission files, it would be enough to lock the one that is being played/selected.

any idea how i can fix the missions so they work? ive seen alot of servers playing them :s

I'm affraid you will have to test each and every single mission to see if you can keep it on your server yes or no

Check the ARMA.RPT file: It should have a list of the syntax errors encountered, so most likely the error causing this behaviour is in there.

We managed to get one custom mission onto the server, and they aren't bugged because how do other servers have them all :S

We run almost every single custom made mission, it all works fine.

The possibility is that your mission file is corrupted....

did youi redownload the mission to try again?

Could it maybe be a server problem? on our side?

Because when i go to upload a mission this happens and the mission file is totally differnt to what it was..

Nevermind, after all that crap i went though it was the stupid windows firewall. although i had it set to let it though confused_o.gif
