Sniperwolf572 758 Posted December 24, 2006 xp sp2 of course.i dont have this problem in ofp 1.96. Have you tried updating to the latest OpenAL and installing the latest chipset drivers? It solved some odd sound bugs for me.
Marines 0 Posted December 24, 2006 xp sp2 of course.i dont have this problem in ofp 1.96. The reason I asked was because a few people have attempted to run ArmA in Win2000. Now, I assuming the game is still playable without modifying the config file, correct?
S.O.S 0 Posted December 24, 2006 Im only talking about switching HW acceleartion on which results in better fps due less calculation times for the cpu.
Marines 0 Posted December 24, 2006 Im only talking about switching HW acceleartion on which results in better fps due less calculation times for the cpu. I don't know what to tell you, other than ArmA seems hit and miss with every system. I would suggest you follow the options Sniperwolf stated, and downloading the latest drivers available. At least attempt to uninstall the previous ones first then apply the new ones.
