sparky 0 Posted December 13, 2006 1)Is you texture in correct size? that means that O2 can handle textures that are power 0f 2 example 32X32 64X64 128X128 etc. also you can have combinations like 32X64 64X256 etc. but all they have to meet the rule of power of 2. 2) is your texture in TGA format? i recommend use that format cause supports alpha channels too. and it's directly converatble to paa,pac format by buldozer (even if it's not the best, especially if you hgave alpha channels, but hat's an other story) without any other extra program. hope that helps
Rebel Man 431 Posted December 14, 2006 Very Thanks XSparky & nephilim For helping. i can load textures now in O2 Thanks
AceTalker 0 Posted December 17, 2006 I have this problem and yes, the files are in tga format and their filesize is correct. O2 can open them, but I can't see them in O2. I could have used them at planes to make the modelling clearer to me, since I SUCK. (I made the .TGA files with photoshop, is that acceptable*?) *lol AceTalker out. sparky 0 Posted December 17, 2006 if you see when you press the 'A' button, and after you have insert your texture and says 'null' that means that you have problem with your dll folder. 1) have you give O2 the correct path for dlls? (the correct path should be the O2 folder) go from o2 file->options and check the value of the DLL folder. 2)if yes and you continue having that problem then you can try to make a new folder somewhere in your HDD, and paste dlls from O2 and visitor and keep the newest ones. then give that folder path, as the dll folder in O2. (i tried that once and worked) hope that helps
Arne 0 Posted December 18, 2006 Quote[/b] ]I made the .TGA files with photoshop, is that acceptable*?I do it that way with PS7 and as long as you save them as 32bit TGAs without compression you should be fine. But I remember that I had serious problems with PS6 after upgrading to 6.0.1 or so. It f*cked up all TGAs so I downgraded to 6.0.0 and all was fine again
AceTalker 0 Posted December 18, 2006 Soo... now I can "load" textures without errors, but the textures can't be seen (I'm making a jedi starfighter and i need those pictures to make my model better [much better])! What can I do with this? AceTalker out. Words of the day: Pissing on a panda
