True, but it was bombs which destroyed the Sir Tristan and Sir Galahad. Ships very similar to OFP's LST. A floating gun platform in limited sea is one thing. Start putting in anti-ship missiles...

Yeah, they only had a hand full of exocet's, I was remembering something I saw on TV the other day about the sinking of the Atlantic Conveyor and HMS Shefield.

What we need is a bigass ship that has cruise missiles to blow up everything on the whole island.

I just want a LPH or LHA with independence lost to possibly land helos on.
