muska54 0 Posted December 10, 2006 yes it can only be done through the new quick command (space bar) hold space and then select units to add to the group by pressing the middle mouse button on them. then press it a second time on the last member to add ,and the menu comes up.. and "assign" is now there.. hooray. kind of tedious but works well after the groups have been assigned. Indeed it seems not to behave in an obvious way: the way you describe does not work totally : the second click is not the right way. There are two cases : 1) the working one when the menu displays a F1 to Fx list in which you see green boxes around the guys you have selected. To assign a group to them you roll the mouse wheel to one of the selected and click middle => it displays the root menu including "9 assign" 2) the not working one, where the Fx list do not show when you select guys ... in this case I d'ont know how to make it appear. I meet the case 1 in the 1st multiplayer mission on Saharni and the second in one I made for testing on Ramadhi with only west side players in one hugeg group (20+ ppl under my command).
