Donnervogel 0 Posted December 2, 2006 I've got this weird problem in the mission to retake Corazol (spelling?). I suspect it has to do with many units being on the map. The game runs smoothly (everything on low/very low) and I've got no slowdowns or such but there seems to be a major problem with recognising keyboard input under those circumstances. When I initiate any movement it doesn't stop. For example when I move forward (1xW) it won't stop once I release the key. it also doesn't stop when I hit any other movement key. I also can't switch to optics or change my position (prone/crouch/standing). But this happens with all kinds of movement as well as leaning or going sideways. It doesn't happen in other mission/the editor witch have less units on the map. I know my computer barely reaches the minimum requirements but it can't be that I can play the game smoothly and such an important part of the game fails. I rather have slowdowns/stuttering and such problems when I hit the performance limit of my computer than being unable to control the character because it doesn't recognise when I release a key. specs: Athlon 2600+ 512 MB DDR2 RAM Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB catalyst 6.9 Onboard Realtek AC97 soundcard dunno the drivers but I don't have any unknown sound issues anyway. baddo 0 Posted December 3, 2006 A shot in very dark: try to adjust the character repeat rate and/or delay. I am lucky enough to not have ArmA yet so I don't know what settings, if any, are present there for keyboard speed. But try fiddling with the Windows keyboard settings. Hostilian 11 Posted December 3, 2006 Its not a crappy wireless keyboard is it? If it is, try it with a PS2 or USB wired one. Only time i've experienced this (to a very minor degree) is when running, takes a few paces to stop (which you would expect, I suppose). #C
