lukemax 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Hi all I'm trying to re-build my LAN for OFP trying yo connect a windows XP to a Windows 98 PC At the moment i have 3 PCs 1 XP (Main) 1 Latop with XP thease to connect and work fine, however i cannot connect the main with 98 whatever i try! Baff2 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Insert your XP disc into the 98 machine and let it configure it for you Automatically. Also use the automated wizard for the XP machines. j w 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Or it's just that you need drivers for every single thing you use with Win98, au the contrary from XP wich is plug and play. Check if the computer itself supports the network-card (if you've recently installed a new one), or if it has any problems with the router you're using.
