BLSmith2112 0 Posted October 5, 2006 After Ofpec went down, it seems like the OFP Editing Community has gone into a frenzy. With 1000s of questions, many of them repeats.. I was wondering if there is a place that is ether IN place or being put in place to centralize these scripting questions into 1 large database.. Perhaps have a thread devoted to those who upload their scripts to a website, or a free-hosting service (IE: Fileplanet, Fileshack) and then put to a ofp server to futher add to its database.. Ofpec had a good one before it went down.. however, I don't see any hope in sight..

macguba 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Matt Rochelle is quite right. Â We have recovered many scripts, and many more have been technically recovered but have not yet gone through the cleaning up process to make them postable - they will appear soon. There is a new submission mechanism for new scripts. Â Â Some Editing resources are currently stored on a special forum board. It is all a little confusing at present I know, with scripts split between the forum and the temporary Editors Depot, but we'll get it all sorted out eventually. Â In the meantime at least there are a decent number of scripts (about 80) you can download. The OFPEC forums were totally recovered so any scripting information that was in there before is still there. Â (Unfortunately the attachments were lost.) Â The search function on the new forum is better so its easier to find things. The forums are active and see more traffic than this board. If you have an scripting question, OFPEC is as good a place to post it as any. For simple scripting problems OFPEC's online comref includes many helpful comments and extra examples. This was also recovered from the old site.
