wow man your the first guy to reply with exactly what i needed, thanks alot!

i do need to know one more thing.

i made a new bulletfly sound which i installed, it works but theres just one issue.. it doesnt sound like the orriginal file i made.

it sounds deeper in tone and lower in volume.

now that i can edit the config.bin, i changed the values of the line - soundFly[]={objects\bulletnoise,db-12,0.7};.. but it still sounds the same.

what i would like to know is how do i change the tone or pitch as well as the volume of the sound file so it sounds the way i intended it to sound befor pboing the sound file.

Not an expert in this, only once replaced some sounds and they turned out not to be changed by OFP engine.

Have you converted them to .ogg (or .wss/.wav)? Is the file mono?

So many questions and i don´t even know why i ask this...it´s just that 4 years of OFP made me always go the easiest way.

In this case i´d advise you to search the forums for similar problems like yours, sure it´s been answered already.

Here´s some examples of the sounds i used:

Strela fired

PDW SD

i have it as a .wav 16bit mono, and coverted it to .wss

maybe the bitrate or even the 44100Hz could be the problem?
