Displaying percentage

Just a quick question:

Is there a way to display the percentage character through hint, sidechat or similar? Looked on the forum, but didn't found anything. Tried many variants, but it's the % character is excluded from a string when displaying.

Works for me, unless used in format clauses, as UNN showed.
