Victor_S. 0 Posted August 26, 2006 Hey guys I have been trying to play games online, but my school has a very restrictive firewall and my computer cannot communicate with servers. Is there anything i can do or any program that will allow me to play games online through the firewall. I have a program called anonymous guest and sockscap but i cant get it to work with games. I can use anonymous guest to get on the internet throught the firewall, but I cannot get it to work for games. The games I have tried are ofp, americas army, and cod2. any help would be great. JdB 144 Posted August 26, 2006 Programs like the one that you describe often use port 80 (standard internet port) to access services that otherwise would use other ports. Restricting port 80 is hard to do since it would restrict most internet traffic (if not all). I don't know the programs you mentioned, but it should be possible to access an OFP server, even when the port you are using is not 2302 through those programs.
