Marco.A.Aguilar1 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Hello, I don't know if the topic title is proper or not but I ran into a little problem. I uninstalled OFP GOTY Edition so I can reinstall it due to some issues. The problem is that I am at my parents house and not at my apartment which is where the CD key is and is a few hours away. I am not going back there for another three weeks! Is there a place, on my computer, that might have my CD key saved? Regedit maybe? Is so, exactly where? CameronMcDonald 147 Posted May 11, 2006 Ah, this is hard. If I had my computer on me, I could show you where the OFP registry stuff is... if you're still having problems a week from now, ask me.

XCess 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Search your registry with regedit for "flashpoint". look for a key called key. Looks like hex to me, not sure if I'm right though. This is bound to get locked  If worst comes to the worst, send an email to either BIS or Codemasters (really cant remember who) requesting a new key. A year or two ago I opened my OFP case to find a chunk snapped off it, after sending photos to prove I had a legal version, they sent me a replacement for Å2, which would probably be for the postage & packaging. Marco.A.Aguilar1 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Thanks, i'll check it out. I almost did the same thing a while back, except the white label where the CD key was supposed to be on in the booklet was blank...haha.
Marco.A.Aguilar1 0 Posted May 11, 2006 No luck, I thought it would still be there after uninstalling it. It was in some cases with other games (and I think this game too). If anyone else finds something that can help me, feel free to private message me. Topic may be closed/locked at anytime. Thanks!
