mach2infinity 12 Posted May 4, 2006 I did check the other thread, but it's locked. So i thought i'd start a new topic. My problem is only playing with certain online mods, namely 'crCTI 0.93'. Whenever i start a game with that mod, i get booted to desktop with a box displaying "out of reserved memory" message. Here's a screenshot i took :- My system specs are :- P4 3.2 GHZ 2GB RAM GeForce FX 5950 256MB C Drive 111GB Gigabyte Motherboard I thought it may have been the DXDLL mod, so i removed it. That didn't make a difference, i've also seen a suggestion to remove addons. Although i like to play on various servers and some of the addons are necessary. My addons folder is 1.68GB, with 236 files and four folders (PYP_M82A1), if that helps. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!
Guest Ti0n3r Posted May 4, 2006 lol. Since you didn't mention, I assume you're not using nomap. Do so and it should work.
456820 0 Posted May 4, 2006 Search next time will get results much quicker. But the answer is right click on your ofp shortcut click properties then in the target line at the end add. -nomap -nosplash and click apply then okay Play ofp and enjoy without the errors. Edit - Also wondering what is behind the error message send me a screen without the error message as i would like all the admin commands as im not sure on them all. PM me please. shinRaiden 0 Posted May 4, 2006 This bug is normally from running a map too detailed, normally found when running maps larger than the BIS maps (ie tonal etc) at high or very-high detail settings. Try starting OFP with -nomap, then lowering your detail settings.
