each weapon class with its own holding animation

would it be posible, and if so how?

could a script, or set of scripts be made so that each weapons class could call on the correct holding animation?

im sick of seeing soldiers holding weapons the wrong way. be it an AUG, M4, P90, or even any sniper riffle or machinegun.

it looks down right stupid looking at a soldier with an M249 and his hands are clipping into the meg, or a soldier with an M4/M203, and hid hands are going through the M203.

also being that im already on the subject on weapon/soldier animations..

i was also wondering if it would be posible to do the same thing that the JAM system did with ammo, but have something for weapon parts.

i would much rather have one M4 base model with 200+ parts that can be added to it, then have 200+ M4 models.

it would be great to customise weapons in an in-game menue system then have to have 200+ addons of that same gun with the different combinations of parts.

it sure would same on HD space not having all those addon of the same gun.

If it were possible I guess it would've been already done. Maybe this is fixed in ArmA.
