astano 0 Posted March 17, 2006 My PC crashed and I had to reinstall OFP, and since then I can't figure out how to make mod folders work again. The shortcut is: [b said: Quote[/b] ]"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap -mod=@Russia The folder is OperationFlashpoint\Res\Russia, and in that I have an "Addons" folder that has all my addons in it. I've got another one for U.S., U.K., Tonal, and Mideast. Any help?
Guest Ti0n3r Posted March 17, 2006 If the folder is named Russia then it should look like this; [b said: Quote[/b] ]"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap -mod=Russia Btw, I think you should place the mod folders directly in the Ofp folder (C:\Games\Flashpoint1985 or whatever you use). I could be wrong, don't remember.
russin 0 Posted March 17, 2006 yes the mod folder should be placed in your Operation Flashpoint Folder Mod should have 2 folders one with name of mod and in side that folder should have a addons folder eg: @wgl5/Addons the @wgl5 folder placed in your OPF route DIR and target line for new shortcutt "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" /nosplash -mod=@wgl5 -nomap
sputnik monroe 102 Posted March 17, 2006 Astano, it looks like you have everything correct save for two small things. All you have to do is remove the @ symbol from the name in -mod=@russia. That is unless the mod folder is titled @russia. Second the mod folder just goes in the main game directory, not res.
