Standard bug fixes...

Not sure where to post this, but... After playing around with a buddy of mine, I was wondering if the bugged features in OFP that are already there where going to get fixed.

IE: unable to lock-on hellfire missiles in gunner position. Unable to see waypoint that commander gives in armored vehicles. Unable to see targets called out by tank commander when in gunner position, also when pilot calls targets to gunner in chopper. (all example are for human players in the same vehicle)

Little things like these, which are already in game, would really make the online play a lot more enjoyable. Being able to work together effectively in a vehicle.

Right now, choppers (online) are only effective with 1 person in it. Having a gunner ruins the choppers ability to lock-on.

I know that the regular poster in these forums doesn't know the answer to these questions, but if someone that might, or someone that has connections. I don't exactly need an answer, I just feel that if I don't say something, they might forget to fix it in ArmA crazy_o.gifbiggrin_o.gif

why would they forget? arma will surely most probably have most of the ofp bugs fixed, ie the indoor combat clipping, schrunched buildings, better AI, better collision detection etc

thats what will make arma so much better biggrin_o.gif

not to mention that it will look prettier and have decent multiplayer

although the indoor combat still has me a little worried - i do hope that they prove the sceptics wrong

The Local Bug - Not being able to embark/disembark local AI in a vehicle that is non-local to the machine.

The Repair-Bug: If something is damaged ,you can only repair it to 1 * 10^-20 or something.Resulting for example in that the tracks of a tank always show as damaged and that damn AI wont get in your fixed tank again.. uhm

Ingame-Voice.Well,I consider this a semi-bug,Bis really needs to update the code so it works again in ArmA(Very needed).

The Ammo-Spilling Bug(I guess everyone Knows that one)

I could go on,but I guess BIS has these fixed already and they have a list with hundreds of new bugs they are fixing right now which is probably the reason why they will let us wait until about june smile_o.gif

almost forgot the laser designator on the OH58 bug.

Player pilot, and player gunner cant get the laser to work.

I hope that fix:

"Ammo crates bug" in multiplayer...

"G36 and Steyr firepower".. it is too much powerful...

"Destroyed houses bug".. the soldiers remain blocked to inside...

"Helicopter landing".. when it landing on irregular ground it moves alone...

"Wheeled vehicles brakes".. time of braking too much long...

Well, i hated in OFP:CWC when i ordered tank-the gunner to look at West (with the gun), and he didn`t respond and looked for egzample North. Hope it`ll be fixed. That was very annoying.

There was also a bug, in CWC when u assign a soldier to be a driver of a tank. Then u send him to some place and assign him to be gunner. When u wanted him to be driver again, he couldn`t drive tank anymore sad_o.gif Otherway is it possible, that driver could so easily be a gunner, and a gunner to be a driver? Maybe they should make some soldiers with abilities, that others cant, in. egz. one would be a driver of a tank, one would be a gunner. Do soldiers on war drive tanks alone, then they are gunner, and later again drive that tank alone? I don`t think so. Make the game as realistic as a real war is - we`ll love you for that  notworthy.gif

EDIT:

well i remember another stupid situation from OFP:CWC (i dont know if it was changed in Resistance). When u kill your teammate - even accidentally - all your AI are trygin to kill you. Ive had a situation, when enemy was attacking me and i fired LAW missile, hit enemy, but accidentally my AI was killed too. Then all my AI - insteed firing at enemy - was shooting at me sad_o.gif That should be changed, maybe no represions for killing teammate icon_rolleyes.gif
