snipman 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Hi, I made a map with a Carrier... and I wanted to make a Waypoint to the Carrier like all game long.... but the problem it has like a 25 % chance of staying there after a player respawns.. so is there a script or method inwhich you could ensure that the waypoint is always visible to the player.. even after respawN??? macguba 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I don't know, but I do know that playing in Veteran mode - where you don't have waypoints - is much more fun than Cadet mode. This is not just my opinion: I've come across many people who have changed from Cadet to Vet and AFAIK none have changed back. In RL do you like it when people tell you what to do? Your mother or your boss? Well why do you put up with it in a game?
Metal Heart 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Make a looping script that detects respawn and from there, command something like player setwaypoint getpos carrier. That won't work but you get the idea.
