ade_mcc 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Hey Hit_Sqd_Maximus, I've almost the same spec as you and have not encountered this grey texture. What drivers are you using? The latest Nvidia one (81.98?) works fine for me. Any other settings which may give us clues?

Jones -PL- 0 Posted April 6, 2006 You can see it here. I've encountered it on my GF 6600. Omega Drivers [v. 1.6693] solved the problem [should work fine for 6600 GT too]. You can download it here. Have fun! PS: Big thanks to Volt. He showed me them.
456820 0 Posted April 6, 2006 well i have the same gfx card and i dont have that same problem. try installing 84.25 drivers the latest ones of the nvidia site i downloaded them and most of my problems with ofp have been fixed such as less crashing and CTD's. Aswell as being able to alt+tab which usually took about 8 seconds and most of the time made ofp freeze but now i havent once had ofp freeze due to an alt+tab with the new drivers. It may also fix your problem. Are you using a sky pack whcih messes with the data.pbos which could cause a missing texture? are you using nomap and nosplash and other such things?
